Working with some space constraints and as a part of multi-element project involving a pool, fencing and other construction, it was a pleasure to deal with your entire team. From the start, Daryl was excellent in providing various options that would fit within our budget and space limits. He listened to our desires and objectives, and helped guide us to the best layout for our particular yard. He also provided excellent guidance during final material selection. From design to implementation, he leveraged he experience to help us avoid pitfalls we would have otherwise run into. The final look is fantastic as a result
Furthermore, the installation team led by Andrew was outstanding. Their quality of work and attention to detail was evident from their first day on site. Given the importance of the landscaping to our project, this was very much appreciated, as we had high confidence in the team day-to-day as they worked while we were not on site ourselves. They made excellent final detail decisions in the cases where it was appropriate, and also incorporated some of our own on-the-fly requests for adjustments as the project progressed.
The tight coordination between Outdoor Lifestyles, our pool supplier and other contractors was also highly appreciated. This helped eliminate the stress points in the project, knowing that the team as in contact with other contractors to ensure all logistics fit together nicely.
We would highly recommend Outdoor Lifestyles to others considering a backyard or other landscaping project. When we progress on to other areas of our yard, we’ll be certain to call your team again.

We had Outdoor Lifestyles manage our pool landscaping project last summer. From the very first meeting with Mike Chelbo we were impressed with their approach and considerate focus on customer service. That emphasis and focus was present through the entire process from the initial design and quote, to the hands on meeting, to selecting materials and colours and finally through the onsite landscaping work.
Mike, Ashley and Daryl accommodated our numerous design changes efficiently to ensure our finished product matched our landscaping plan. Mike, his crew chief Mark, and the rest of the crew were always in sync with the pool installers and other contractors – and managed the entire process efficiently and professionally. On site, Mark and his crew worked extremely hard to ensure our landscape project was completed to our satisfactions including several last minute modifications that we figured out as we moved through the build.

I would like to thank you and your team for the wonderful job they did transforming our backyard into a beautiful outdoor living space! We are very happy with the quality of work starting from the design phase, right through to the end result. As the designer on our project, we appreciated your suggestions and counsel as we planned the space, the materials used, and the various factors to consider when making decisions.
Your crew was very respectful of our family and our property, leaving it clean and tidy at the end of each work day. They were polite and very professional during the project. Mike was onsite each day ensuring the project was running smoothly and answering any questions we had quickly and professionally.
In 2007 we decided to have an in ground pool installed and landscape the entire remaining backyard. Outdoor Lifestyles – along with a few other companies – were referred to us by Pioneer Pools.
My wife and I met a few landscape companies and opted to proceed with Outdoor Lifestyles. The reasons were simple. They clearly knew their business, had a very creative soltions to our landscaping desires and seemed flexible to accommodate adjustments. Of course, they were also professional and the guarantee of service, post sale, was a key selling feature for me.
We were very pleased with the final outcome and have since referred their services to 3 of our friends who have also used them with the same high level of satisfaction.
Unfortunately last year the ground in my yard settled and the interlock around the pool dropped in certain places. This was a clear hazard with my kids running around and I called Mike to see if he could come and solve. To my amazement, Mike was over within a few days with his team. They opted to re-set a very large section to ensure complete uniformity. When I asked what I owed him, he stood by his promise 3 years earlier, and said this was after the service that he guaranteed, and thus, no cost.
If you are thinking about getting work completed, it is my high recommendation to use Mike and Ashley. You will be please with the work, service and quality of people you will deal with.

You should know that their attention to detail, cleanliness, professionalism, respect for my property, project management capabilities and willingness to address and all questions of concerns (including those relating to pool items) we had as a client, was beyond expectation. I stress each of these items is appropriate to point out. I would be remiss if I also did not point out that they have a great set of sub-contractor relationships from Greenscape (Jacobs Greenscape) to irrigation systems (Rain Tree) to lighting (Luna Lighting). In particular the work of Jacobs was creative and spot on.
